Building Works:
The construction of a new wing to incorporate two new operating theatres and recovery ward, followed by renovations to the remainder of the department.
Site Specific Building Solutions:
In 2006 DNAco upgraded the Knox Private Hospital Theatre department, which included the construction of a new wing to incorporate two new Stryker operating theatres and a new 11 bed recovery ward. Once the new wing was constructed DNAco spent the next 12 months upgrading the remainder of the department, working closely along side the staff in a 12 staged programme. This included modifications to the entire CSSD dept as well as renovations to the existing 4 theatres, construction of a new staff/surgeon change room and additional ancillary rooms.
Contract Result;
Whilst working at Knox, DNAco formed good relationships with the staff and after working along side them for a total 18 months, the building works were completed to the satisfaction of all involved and within the allotted timeframe.
